Forest Timber Mafia

Piyass International Human Rights NGO is working since 2005 (Registration No. CRRF/ICT/2-2063) for “Child Labor, Environmental Changes, Child Abuse, Prisoner Rights, Civil, Political Rights, and Human Trafficking etc. It has come to our knowledge that the people of Kuldana, in the surroundings of Murree have been poisoning the trees by spraying chemical liquids on them. In result, the tree dies gradually. The impact this lethal chemical puts to the live trees, their roots starts getting dry and in few weeks time the tree actually dies. They chop the trees-off and sell each tree for good handsome commission of 50% to the “Timber Mafia”. This can cause serious environmental issues. The trees generate oxygen and this “Timber Mafia” is harming our environment for the sake of their commissions and it is a serious threat to the environment as the oxygen level is decreasing day by day. Piyass International appeals to the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan to take notice and strict action to stop the “Timber Mafia” from damaging our environment. We should do all the required steps to save the environment and punish such people who are becoming a threat to the nature. Piyass international will be playing its role in order to maintain friendly and healthy environment as always.
